EXTRA CURRCULAR ACTIVITIES (ECAs)
GLENEALY SCHOOL RUN ECAs
TERM 1 - 2026-2027
The preview for the Term 1 Glenealy School run ECAs will open on the ESF Hub on Friday, 21st August. The sign up will then open on Monday 24th August.
Y1 & 2 will be at 4.00pm and Years 3- 6 sign-up opens at 4.30pm.
It will remain open until 23.59 pm on Thursday 27th August. Please note that amendments to enrolments & withdrawals cannot be made once the sign-up has closed.

ECAs listed in blue take place during lunchtimes.
There is an expectation that if a child is signed up for an ECA, they will complete the full term.
Please note Year 1 & 2 students can choose 1 school run ECA. You will be able to choose a second ECA, this will be allocated when the sign up period closes, if there are spaces available.
Year 3 – 6 students have unlimited choices.
The ECA classes will run from Tuesday, 8th September until Thursday, 26th November.
The afternoon ECAs will run from 3.15pm - 4.15pm.
ECAs do not run on school or public holidays. There will be no ECAs on Thursday 24th September due to Mid Autum festival and Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th October due to student conferences.
On days when students have a sporting ECA, they may come to school in their P.E. kit.
ECAs are charged at a nominal rate for the term. This is to cover the costs incurred to deliver the ECA. Term 1 ECAs cost $495 per ECA for the term. Payments can be made via the payment tile on The ESF Hub from 4th September.
Students in Years 5 and 6 already listed as unaccompanied walkers will be allowed to go home unaccompanied after their ECAs at school. All other students must be collected at 4.15pm from the underground playground.
Students staying for Glenealy School-run ECAs will be supervised by a teacher until the start of their ECA. They may wish to bring a small snack to eat after school.
If your child has an ECA run by an outside provider that starts at 3.15pm, please notify your child’s class teacher so they can hand your child over to the ECA provider. For ECAs starting after 3.15pm your child must be picked up from the class teacher and supervised by a parent or guardian until the start of their ECA. If your child usually takes the bus home and will not be doing so due to attendance to an outside provider-run ECA, please also update your child’s travel arrangements using the ESF Hub.
