The school is divided into 12 mixed-ability classes, with two classes at each level. Our teachers are highly qualified educators from various international backgrounds.
Glenealy School offers your child a well-rounded education. In addition to our classroom-based teachers and educational assistants, we have teachers who specialise in Performing Arts (Music/Drama), Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Modern Chinese.
All year groups receive two PE lessons each week. Children should come to school dressed in their PE kit on the day they have PE lessons, as per the schedule provided by your class teacher at the beginning of the year.
Every class will have at least one Performing Arts lesson, including Music and Drama. A second weekly lesson will either be another Performing Arts lesson or a lesson in Visual Art, depending on a rotating schedule. This rotating schedule ensures that all year groups receive equal lessons in each subject area.
Children in Years 1 and 2 receive three weekly sessions consisting of 45 minutes of Chinese. Years 3 to 6 have daily Chinese lessons at 45 minutes each.
