What attracted us to Glenealy was its small size and it being a local community school. Walking our children to school and meeting other families along the way is a great way to get to know the students and their families. With only 2 classes per year the children (and parents) get to know each other very well and this helps foster a great sense of belonging and friendship.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Y1 to Y6 Parent Coffee Morning! It was a great opportunity to connect with our school leadership and parents. We enjoyed discussing school developments and shared our vision for enhancing home learning.
As part of our Unit of Inquiry into different celebrations, Year 2 students visited the Learning Commons to explore symbols. Using the Beaver Bot to cut out their designs, the students worked on everything from collaborative snowman building to crafting the perfect stocking, successfully combining creativity with technical skills.
Year 4 students are creating their own diagram of body systems.
An ESF Christmas story that will melt your heart: Meet Cassidy, a student from ESF Glenealy School with a proud Fijian and Scottish heritage, Cassidy dreams of becoming a vet one day.
Her Christmas letter found its way to a mystery person at ESF Island School — and what happened next was pure holiday magic.

Our Year 6 mathematicians crushed their work on fractions and equivalents today! This lesson is brilliant evidence of our work on inquiry mathematics and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Students weren't just solving problems, they were actively collaborating, coaching their peers, and creating their own problems, which gave them ownership and voice in the session. The depth of reflection on the connections they made and where they are heading in their mathematics learning shows they are building the important skill of knowing how they learn best and setting their own goals. This is what successful, student-centered mathematics looks like.
Another brilliant days sport! This time it was the turn of the Glenealy footballers who competed in the Hong Kong Primary School Championship. The boys played really well and got through to the semi finals. Gooooo Glenealy!!
A fabulous afternoon of boys netball today organised by Glenealy School. Netball Hong Kong China senior officials were on hand to pick the MVP and award the trophy.
Congratulations Glenealy on bringing home the silverware!
Year 6 visited Ping Shan Heritage trail. This connected to their unit which explores the influence of ancient civilisations on culture and identity in Hong Kong. We can’t wait to get back and make some connections to our learning!
